How to save money on skiing
- Epic Pass – On sale beginning each spring. Consider day passes, restricted dates, all resorts vs 32 vs 22, regional passes etc to find the right option for your needs. Pay attention to the ages for “child” pricing, which vary by pass – sometimes it make sense to buy a more comprehensive pass if the age cutoff is higher for your tween/teen. Epic Pass holders also get discounted rentals and lessons.
- Capital One Venture X – Book a condo near your favorite ski spot through Capital One Travel to use your $300 annual travel credit. Buy your family’s lift tickets with the free Capital One Savor Rewards to earn 3x points, then move those points to your Venture X to “erase” the rest of the cost of your condo.
